Arsenal players on national duty

Robin Van Persie hits four goals for the Netherlands. Van Persie was in scoring form for the Netherlands in their 11-0 victory, netting four times. Van Persie and Netherland will face Finland on tuesday. The arsenal fans will hope he will not come back with an injurie, that he unfortantly had just to do.   

Chu-Young Park scored hatrick when South Korea won 6-0 against Lebanon. The new signing from Monaco scored his firsth in a magnificant volley, the second on a header from a corner and the third on a run from midtfield. South Korea will face Kuwait on tuesdayin the world cup qualifies.

Yossi Benayoun played the full 90 minutes as Israel went down 1-0 at home to Greece in their Euro 2012 qualifier in Tel Aviv. Israel travel to Zagreb on Tuesday to face Croatia.


Alex Oxlade Chamberlain played 76 minutes for England under-21s. England won 6-0 against Aserbadjan in the under-21s European champions qualifies, and will face Israel in a friendly match on monday. Chamberlain was involved in bothof Landsburys goals.

Rhys Murphy played the full 90 minutes and scored in his under-21s debut. Murphy debut for Irelands under-21s and scored, and he will play again against Turkey on tuesday.

Per Mertesacker was an unused substitute for Germany against Austria. Germany won 6-2 and will face Poland in a friendly match on tuesday.

Theo Walcott played 83 minutes for England. England won 3-0 and will play again on tuesday against Wales.

Aaron Ramsey scored the crucial goal for Wales. Ramsey scored the 2-1 goal against Montenegro for Wales. He and Wales will feat England in the world cup qualifies on tuesday.

Bacary Sagna missed France's match because of virus. Sagna was sick and did therefore not play for France i their 2-1 victory against Albania. Franve will play against Romania on tuesday. 

Laurent Koscielny was unused substitute for France. Koscielny did not play in France's victory over Albania. France will play against Romania on tuesday.

Andrei Arshavin played the hole match for Russia. Arshavin played the full 90 minutes when Russia played 1-1 against Macedonia on friday. Russia will face Ireland on tuesday.

Woichiec Szczesny was unused substitute for Poland in their friendly match against Mexico. The match ended in a 1-1 draw, and Poland will play another friendly match on tuesday against Germany.

Tomas Vermaelen did not play for Belgium. Vermaelen has been injured and did not play for Belgium against Azerbajian. It will be exiting to see if he play against USA on tuesday.

Thomas Rosicky and Czezh will face Scotland on saturday and Ukraine on tuesday.

Alex Song and Kamerun will face Mauritius on saturday.

Gervinho and Ivory Coast will face Rwanda on saturday.

Johan Djorou and Switzerland will face Bulagria on tuesday.

The tranfer window has been a tough task for Arsene Wenger and his crew, plenty of rumors of the star players Fabregas, Clichy and Nasri leaving the club tourns out in reality. The squad and fans tries desperate to convinve Wenger that it is time to buy reinforcments, established players and not youngsters. After a lousy start of the Premier League Arsene Wenger finally realized that he needed new signings in a few days.

In the start of the tranfer window Gervinho was the only reinforcment that was established as a good player. The other reinfocments was the youngsters Jenkinson, Chamberlain and Campbell. Talents, but not players who would lifted the club in this season, but in the last days of the window Wenger took action.

The last days Wenger brought Mertesacker and Santos into the squad in defence, Artieta and Benayoun in midtfield and Park Chu-Young in attack. The signings made that arsenal fans again had hope for the comming season, after beeing negative to the season just a few days before the tranfer window closed.

Per Mertesacker is a major
reinforcment for Arsenal
Per Mertesacker - the defender has significant experience with 226 apperances for the club and played 53 times for German. The 26 year old player has played in the European champions final at 2008. In 2006 and 2010 he played in semi finals in the World Cup.
Mikel Arteta - has signed a four year deal with the gunners, bringing a lot of Premier League experience to the club beacuse he has played for Evrton since 2005. The defensive midtfielder is 29 years old.
Yossi Benayoun - will join Arsenal on a season long loan from Chelsea. The midtfielder has wealth of Premier League experience from Chelsea, Liverpool and West Ham.
Chu-Young Park - joined Arsenal from Monaco where he scored 25 goals in 91 matches. The south korean captain is only 26 year old and is a well known striker. 
Andre Santos - joined Arsenal from Fenerbache in Türkey, he reached over 50 matches for the team and scored 10 times. He has abbility to both defend and attack, for 2 years ago he played his firsth match for the Brazilian national team.
