Injurie news before the Manchester United match

Arsenal did get a couple of players back for injurie to the Udinese match. Here is a new update:

Gervinho and Sogn are still suspended after the firsth match against Newcastle. Thsi will be there last match suspended, so against Norwich both will be back.

Rosicky and Djorou came through the Udinese match well and both will be fit to play the match at Old Trafford.

Vermaelen has a test on Saturday to complete, if the test is positive he will play.

Koscielny had a positive test today, and it seems that he is ready for the match.

Kieran Gibbs is not far away being ready, but he is not.

Bendtner and Squillaci will not be fit to play. Wilshere has seen a specialist today, the result of the test is not know jet, but he will probably be out for two more weeks.

Bolton rejected bid from Arsenal on Gary Cahill

Bolton manager Owen Coyle has confirmed that Bolton has rejected a bid on there defender Gary Cahill. Cahill has only one year lett of his contract with Bolton and manager Coyle has the Hole summer repeted that Cahill can leave the club for the right price. Arsenal in Champions League group with Marseille, Olympiacos FC and Borussia Dortmund!

Arsenal was drawned into group F with Marseille, Olympiacos FC and Borussia Dortmund. The last team in the group is still jet to be drawen.

Arsenal qualified after 3-1 victory on aggregate against Udinese. Arsene Wenger says that the firsth priority was to qualify to Champions League, but now he says that it is no doubt that they will have as goal to win the group and come through to the final rounds.

Marseille was drawen from pot 2, and was a good draw for Arsenal. Marseille finished second place last year in ligue 1. Arsenal should be aware of there striker Loic Remy, he scored impressive 17 goals inn 33 games in the league.

Olympiacos FC won the greech league last year an by that qualified to Champions League.

The last team that was drawen into the group was Borussia Dortmund, the german champions. A team we did not want to draw, but that is not an excuse to not win the group! Dortmund played some fantastic football last season, and prowed that they can play good matches also against tough opponents. For example did they beat Bayer Munich in both matches last year, and impressive 3-1 away against them.

Arsenal representative, club secretary, David Milles said that Arsenal is very satisfied with the group they draw. He also says that they never played Marseille in a tournament, and only one time in the last 15 years played the two other teams.

Champions league draws today

Today will the Champions league draw be drawen. It will be exitating to see who the worlds top clubs will meet in the group stage. The 32 qualified teams have been Divided into four pots based on the few last years Performance in europe. Ond from each pots will be drawen together and anke a group.

The biggest teams are of course in pot 1, but Ac Milan is in pot 2 and Manchester City is in pot 3! So all teams in pot Ine will hope not drawing this team in there groups.

Superb win away against Udinese qualifies Arsenal to Champions league!

Udinese 1-2 Arsenal, 1-3 on aggregate

Arsenal has reach the Champions league group stage after a fantastic win away against Udinese where Arsenal showed attacking skills and caracter. After being down 1-0 after a Di Natale goal for Udinese, Arsenal showed great caracter and went out in second half with offensive press. Arsenal had a lot of chances and the goal had to come, and it came. 

Gervinho used his fantastisc pase and tecnique to delivere a perfect hard pass to Robin Van Persie who could not do anything other than score. 

Arsenal was just finished with celebrating the goal before Udinese got a unintelligble penalty. The refere had apparently seen a handboal (that no other on the stadium had seen) on Thomas Vermaelen and a yellow card was given to the arsenal defender. The Udinese star striker Di Natale steppping forward to take the penalty and give Udinese the lead, but so easy was not it. Szczesny showed his incredible range he has by saving the penalty entirely by the post. The penalty save showing that nothing will stop Arsenal for reaching the group stage in Champions league!

After the penalty save Arsenal regane the controll in the match and Sagna delivered a clever pass to Walcott where Theo used his speed to come alone with the keeper and sending the ball on the left side for the keeper and into the goal! A good goal that secured Arsenals place in the Champions league.

The rest of the match Arsenal had totally controll and it was only one team on the pitch. Arsenal where closer to put a third goal than Udinese was to a second. After the match it was a relived Arsene Wenger being interviewed.

"Yes, I am relived. We are also proud of playing a superb match and coming back after being 1-0 down. Of course we wants to play in the best tournament, it is there we belong. Maybe this will bring some new players to the club now, but I can not say any names jet" says Arsene Wenger after the match 

There are no doubt this will save a bit of the season for the gunners. This may even be a result bringing new players to Arsenal. Eden Hazard has told that he will join Arsenal, but only if they qualifies to the Champions League.

Arsene Wenger has been exposed for a massiv press both from the supporters and the press, but this will probably end the discusion about Arsene Wengers position in Arsenal.

Preview: Udinese-Arsenal

Arsenal has a 1-0 victory after the firsth leg on Emirates to rely on. It was a close match, but Theo Walcotts early goal proved to be the difference between the teams. Szczensy had some amazing saves, but also Arsenal had the opportunity to score more goals.

Arsenal need to not let Udinese striker Di Natale get the opportunities to score goals because he has proven that he can score the most spectaculary goals for the italiens.

For arsenal can Gervinho and Song play, while they still banned for Premier League, and should regain there starting positions. Djorou is fit again after beeing injured the last week, same is Traore. Rosicky will face a last fitness test today, and if he pass he will play the match.

It is not official jet, but it is just the medical test that remains before Samir Nasri is a Manchetser City player. The hole summer has Samir Nasri been linked to City, and now finally the deal seems to be completed.

Wenger wants to buy four star players!

Arsene Wenger is in a really pressed situation after one point in the Premier League after two matches. He has sold Fabregas, Clichy and now maybe Nasri with only one star signing coming in.

Now the rumors tells that Arsene Wenger will buy four star players to add to the squad. The four being Moussa Sow, Phil Jagielka, Eden Hazard and Bastian Schweinsteiger.

Moussa Sow has going out to media begging for Arsenal to give Lille a bid that can release him from the french club and make him to a gunner. It hears so fantastic until you hear rhat he said just the same to Real Madrid, so it will be exiting to watch where the ligue 1 top scorer will end.

Everton has already refused two bid at Phil Jagielka, but Wenger now says that he is willing to improve the bids on the defender.

Eden Hazard are cousin with Tomas Vermaelen, making the tranfer to Arsenal more attractive. I write again what he siad for a copple of days ago: " I really want to join Arsenal, but only if they reach the group stage in Champions League". It means that Arsenal must beat Udinese to get Hazard's contract.

A new, but really interesting, tranfer rumor is that Bayer Munchens star player Bastian Schweinsteiger is in Arsene Wenger thoughts. This is not rumors from very political correct sources, but they do not often come up with totally wrong rumors. Lets wait and see!

Status from the injuried players

Jack Wilshere are back in fitness after being injuried. He will maybe be ready for Udinese on Wednesday, but at least he will be ready for the big match against Manchester United at Old Trafford in the weekend.

Djorou also have a chance to play against Udinese, and Sogn and Gervinho are only suspended in Premier League so the can play the match in Italy.

On the question of Squillaci soon is recovered after injurie, Wenger says that it is still a little while before he can play matches.

It is a lot of tranfer rumors today, and it all points at one thing: that Arsene Wenger is ready to spend money.

Arsene Wenger have given a bid to Lille for over £20 millions for Eden Hazard. Hazard says that he will not join the club if they do not beat Udinese, and qualifies to Champions League.

Wenger wants also to buy at leat one defender, and Arsenal are willing to give Niklas Bendtner to Werder Bremen if they get the defender Per Mertesacker in return. Mertesacker tells that his plan is staying in Werder Bremen.

The next Premier League match are against Manchester United and with no goals jet in the Premier League Arsene Wenger wnats to add the Lazio striker Mauro Zarate before the match at Old Trafford.

The rumors also tells that Arsenal is closing in on Jagielkas signing. Arsenal bid at about £11 millions earlier this summer was rejected, but know it seems that a new and bether bid will come to Everton.

Mancine tells to the daily mirror that he hopes he will have Samir Nasri in 48 hours. Wenger tough says that he always wanted to keep Nasri in the squad and it know looks like he will stay. Some sources go as far as saying that the dealing with Nasri and City have totally stoppen up. Other means that it still is a oppurtunity that he will join Manchester United. All we can do is just wait and see.

Andrey Arshavin: Szczensy will be Arsenal's number 1 goalkeeper for many years

Andrey Arshavin is full of praise of the Gunners defence and Szczensy. He is satisfied with only two goals in three difficult matces, and says that he no longer thinks at the defence of Arsenal as arsenals biggest problems. Arsenal's £20 million bid on Yann m'Vila rejected

Arsenal struggled to find a midtfielder continues after Rennes rejecting Arsenal's top bid at £20 million for there top midtfielder Yann m'Vila. Vila resently signed a new contract binding him to the team until 2015. Milan and Real Madrid have also showen interest for the youngster.
